Some movies ...

A couple of movies I saw recently …

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus was bloody AMAZING!!!

I loved loved loved loved loved every single moment of it. Especially the part with the giant shoes … ;)

The Lovely Bones also was very very very very good.

I am too lazy to write a real review so I am limiting my post to lame comments like “very very very good” and “amazing”

I can tell you for sure that The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is a film I can watch over and over again. Terry has never ever failed me (even in his failures)

And by the by … it is official … The Man Who Killed Don Quixote is going to happen!!! They are in pre-production!!! With Robert Duvall playing Don Quixote

“It's been about a decade since fate slapped the shit out of Terry Gilliam's THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE (as seen in the documentary LOST IN LA MANCHA). The project has slowly been struggling back to life, but it seems like it's about to get a hefty zap from the defibrillator. Clear! …read more here

Then I saw the movie Legion. My boyfriend likes apocalyptic movies. I was expecting an utter crapper but I saw it for Paul Bettany’s sake ( he IS after all a blond sin with legs) Well the first 45 minutes are highly entertaining!!! After a wile it gets a lil tedious and then if you are a little tired like I was, you fall asleep. That doesn’t make it boring. It just gets a non spectacular ending. Recommended for an early Sunday evening with popcorn and the works.

Well the only apocalyptic type of movie that is also in my top ten and IS brilliant, and smart AND has a great ending, is The Prophecy (European title "God's Army") The movie I really appreciated Viggo’s ermmm virtues …

Lucifer: Little Tommy Daggett. How I loved listening to your sweet prayers every night. And then you'd jump in your bed, so afraid I was under there. And I was!

Ah, I think I’m watching it again tonight.

And after a masterpiece, a work of art, and an entertainer … here comes the type of film that makes you wonder …. How much money did they spend on that? How many hungry could they feed instead? ….

The Fourth Kind … oh the crapapalooza … a dreadful hoax-mockumentary Blair Witch Project type, nauseating bullcrap.

I’d rather watch German porn with unshaved old ladies and Pakistani mongoloids who suffer from terminal paralyzing leprosies. (okay how racist was that comment? Ah, I don’t care …)

Ursh it was SO stupid!!!! It made me angry because they are trying to scare people with a hoax story and they don’t even make an effort! The so called “real footage” is SO ridiculous, you must be clinically dead not to realize it is fake. This real Abby Tyler character (who really is Charlotte Milchard, has SO much powder on her face she looks like a turkish delight. Bloody IDIOTS!!! My stupid 9 year old niece can do a better job in her sleep.

Eeehrmf!!!

Ah, there… A lil nagging is good for the soul!

I still haven’t seen Alice … hopefully tomorrow.

Over  and out …
