Gotland was incredibly pretty as always.
Visitors came visitors left.
Tivoli (the amusement) park was nice as always! It felt like home .. as always.
Uppsala was as I left it … a magical doll-city, quiet as a poem, clean as a whistle and pretty as a morning flower. The trip with the train is really beautiful. Green fields, yellow fields and a blue field. Couple of horse farms and Knivsta’s magical train station still looks like the entrance to the Hobbiton.
Took nice pictures.
Watched "There Will be Blood". Daniel Day-Lewis is very worthy of the Oscar he won.
And also, I added his little monologue on my top 3 favourite monologues from movies. The one is Al Pacino’s “Bad Guy” monologue in Scarface and the other is again Al’s “God” monologue in "The Devil’s Advocate" Now Daniel’s little monologue is not as bombastic, it is not even a monologue exactly because another person talks as well, but his words are sure as hell “as close as it gets” … don’t read if you haven’t seen the movie. Here it is:
"I have a competition in me. I want no one else to succeed. I hate most people ... There are times when I look at people and I see nothing worth liking. I want to earn enough money that I can get away from everyone ... I see the worst in people. I don't need to look past seeing them to get all I need. I've built my hatreds up over the years, little by little, Henry... to have you here gives me a second breath. I can't keep doing this on my own with these... people."
ah ... poetry ...
Apart from the competition part (because I really couldn’t care less) everything else is so much what I want to say to most people. It is SO hard for me to see the “good” in people … I hate most of them …
Ah well ...
