Rediscovering Current 93

Yesterday I finally got to see live Current 93.
A band I was introduced to back in 1990.
That year my whole music world changed forever. Right after Rozz Williams' "Only Theatre of Pain" of course, this, together with Death in June, was the best thing that ever happened to my ears back then.

Years went by and mister Tibet released some things that did not interest me as much. I drifted away. I discovered new music. I evolved and took in a whole new world of music within noise and experimental electronics.
So, I had left behind mister Tibet ssomewhere in the beginning of 2000.

Until yesterday.
I went to the concert expecting nothing. I hadn't listened to his recent work at all.
I went there only for history's sake. Only because I felt obligated to see this man live!

I must say I was taken by surprise.
The intro was a welcoming composition to hell.
The second piece was healing your wounds after entering hell. And it was a bloody lift-off to the heavens there after.
I do not know the titles of the songs, since I never listened to them before, so I cannot write here which ones made my soul cry tears of happiness! But GODDAMN my soul sobbed like a baby.
I fell in love all-over again!
I rediscovered Current 93
And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, was a fucking spectacular feeling!
I felt 16 again when my world was still pure and unaffected. I remembered my "roots", my "purpose"
This was a wonderful overwhelming concert! And so unexpected.
No matter how many artists, including yours truly, are inspired by mister Tibet, no matter how many copies emerge out there... Only HE can do that Voodoo!
Thank you sir, form the bottom of my everything!

P.S. If anyone has the setlist from last night, please send it to me!
